Nature Sew 13.6 PM

Join Lisa, an Exeter artist and designer at The Birdhouse Cafe in Pinces Gardens, St Thomas, to explore nature and the positive effects it has on our well being in daily life.

We will collect nature from our surroundings to mindfully hand sew self portraits onto fabric.

The indoor space is limited to x8 people and there is plenty of outdoor areas by the cafe so bring your picnic blankets and camping chairs!

This is a shared event with The Pelican Project who are a collective of learning-disabled members, families, teachers and partner organisations.

The members are young people with a range of learning-disabilities and neurodiversty, at various stages of transition from school to adult life.

Together, they like to be known as ‘Pelicans’.
